Hi there, I’m Amber...and that is my wonderful family! I love to paint, sew, draw, remodel, refinish, demolish, decorate, target shoot, ride horses...you name it. Most of all, I love to create. I started my original blog to share my recent projects, and our lives in general, with my parents, family, and close friends. Recently, after deciding to open an Etsy shop, posting several projects on Facebook, and inundating uninterested friends with “crafty things,” I decided to create a place where everything (my Etsy shop, ideas, inspiration, recent projects, and life) could converge into one.

.I moved around a lot as a child. I was born in Montgomery, AL, but I am NOT from there! The Air Force moved me and my parents after a few short weeks and I have called 14 other locations my home
.I went to 4 high schools, 1 each year—and wouldn’t change that for anything.
.I have so many interests that I seem like I don’t have any direction in life. Even though my husband has a hard time with that, I think that’s what he loves most about me.
.Music is very important to me—I have play lists to match my every mood and would rather have music playing than watch TV.
.I never outgrew my pre-puberty horse obsession.
.The outdoors is my escape, as is being on horseback.
.I wish so badly I could live simply and naturally and live off the land; I wish I weren't so needy when it comes to technology!
.I try my hardest not to kill anything--even scorpions and spiders. "Catch & release" is my motto!
.I enjoy baking and cooking, but I don't like to eat what I've made, unless it's sweets.
.I LOVE the snow, but HATE the cold. I love to ski, but I’m fearful of ski lifts.
.I am addicted to chai tea lattes (both hot & cold) and wish I could have one in my hand at all times.
.I never thought I could love anything on this earth more than my animals…then our first child was born.
.My relationship with God is the most important to me.
